BIG ADVENTURE

Hey Guys!
I'm a month and a half into my Surfers Leadership School (SLS) time here - HALFWAY THROUGH! Do you know what that means? IT'S BIG ADVENTURE TIME! By signing up for SLS, I signed up for adventure in a large sense. Spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Here comes the physical part. Tomorrow morning (Monday) at 4:30am, we will be heading to the airport to hop over to the Big Island and embark on our Big Adventure. That's actually what they call it. We already had our Mini Adventure - now it's time for the big mama.
The theme for this endeavor is "Going Deeper", and the goal is to empower our leadership, encourage character growth, and promote proactively serving one another. We'll be hiking 5 or 6 miles along the south side of the Big Island, then camping for 6 days (we come back Monday, the 24th). We'll be mainly living off the land, setting net and spear fishing all day! No phones, no internet, nothin'. I cannot WAIT.
I'm so stoked to have this opportunity and so thankful to all of you who helped make it happen. I wouldn't be here and able to take hold of this opportunity if I wasn't supported by such rad people, both financially and prayerfully. THANK YOU.
Please pray for my team and I this week. There are 8 of us, which is a pretty small group for SLS. Five SLSers: Victor, Kyle, Troy, Madde and myself, and three leaders: Jared, Kate and Saxony. Please for us for safety, provision, grace and patience for one another, for growth in our character and leadership, and for a deeper understanding of God in regards to leadership.
